These terms cover your use of the Quietleaf app. Quietleaf is a free, offline, no-account habit and photo-journal tracker, and these terms are written to match that simple reality. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Quietleaf, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app. These terms may be updated from time to time (see "Changes" below).
2. Your license to use Quietleaf
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Quietleaf on devices you own or control, for your own personal habit tracking. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to misuse the app.
3. Your content stays yours
Everything you create in Quietleaf — your habits, notes, photos, and streaks — belongs to you and stays on your device. Quietleaf has no account and no servers, so we never receive, access, store, or back up your content. Keeping your own backups (for example, when changing devices) is your responsibility.
4. Free of charge
Quietleaf is provided free of charge. There is no subscription or purchase required to track your habits. If paid options are ever introduced in a future version, they will be clearly described before you choose them.
5. No warranty
Quietleaf is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that it will meet every expectation. Quietleaf is a personal journaling tool, not medical, psychological, or professional advice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quietleaf and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of data. Because your content is stored only on your device, keeping your own backups is important.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use Quietleaf after changes means you accept the updated terms.
